Sorry to be a bother. Having calculated all our absences in foreign parts this summer it transpires there’s only one weekend we can visit our son in Currie, which coincides with the Meet in Kelso. Can I therefore cancel for Sat 16th and Sun 17th July. We can still be there for 14, 15, and back for 18th.

The Borders Events Centre (also known as the Border Union Showground) is located just a short walk from the picturesque town of Kelso in the Scottish Borders. Its cobbled streets and historic buildings are popular with visitors and tourists.
From the site, you can see the outline of the town including Kelso Abbey, Floors Castle and the local point-to-point course. The world famous junction pool on the River Tweed leads visitors from the BEC over the ‘Old Bridge’ and in to the town with its hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops.
The venue is just an hours drive from Edinburgh and 90 minutes from Newcastle and Carlisle making it extremely accessible for the whole of Scotland and Northern England.
40 acres of well maintained parkland which are perfect for a whole range of outdoor events. We regularly welcome vehicle rallies, agricultural sales, caravan clubs and are well suited to fairs, festivals and sporting events.
With the grounds come a number of caravan and camping facilities including 24 hook-ups, a shower and loo block (male, female and disabled) as well as disposal services

This will take place during Kelso Civic Week which is expected to start on Saturday 16th July. Civic week is one of the Borders Common Ridings festivals. Many events taking place in Kelso and the surrounding area while we will be there, including the Farmers Market on Saturday16th July 2022.

Hi Meg. Sorry to muck you about. I’ve got to see a hip and knee consultant just before the meet. I’m not sure whether we can get there in time, my daily driving and walking distances are becoming more limited. We hope to head up to Scotland to see our son and his wife that weekend. If we can we’ll attempt Friday and Monday if there’s space, but no guarantees. If someone else wants the slot and there’s no spare capacity do please let me know.

When the Rally Organiser reads your post, assuming there's space on the Rally, your original message will be reposted with a white tick in a green box below the line. If you hover over this, it should say 'You're booked'. If there is a problem or query, the Rally Organiser will send you a formal reply e.g. 'Fully booked. Do you want to go on Reserve List?' or 'No hardstanding pitches left. Are you OK with grass?' etc

We're attending our first planned Rally next week, so the above process might be not deadly accurate, but it's a close approximation :)

EDIT Got my ticks colours wrong! The one you're looking for is on the far rh side of the emojis and reads 'Booking confirmed' when you hover over it.

Green Ticks on white backgrounds, white ticks on green backgrounds, all very confusing; but not as bad as the green tick on a green background; or its close relative, the white tick on a white background ... That's when you send a PM to the Rally Organiser asking for help :giggle:
