All the locals know she is missing through Facebook posts and the local grapevine. Market day today so even more people will know.....not much happens here!So very sorry to hear this terrible news Ruth and I do hope you can have closure and find Chloe so there’s no chance that Someone has taken her in
good idea but no....Do you know anybody with a drone that could do a sweep of the immediate area?
Ok, a long shot if you have a local rescue group like a fell rescue/mountain rescue and they use dogs maybe they could assist. Obviously rescue dogs primarily locate humans so not too sure about locating animals.good idea but no....
As she vanished from just outside our door, we don't quite know where to leave stuff. We have left a bowl of water out and her bed in an open room, but she was so sick, we do think she has gone somewhere to die. We have left a work t-shirt of Dave's in the garden too.saw this a while ago , seemed worth a try https://www.reshareworthy.com/how-to-find-a-lost-dog/ dog had been lost over 10 days
Are you aware of these people “Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR)”, apologies if I am in the wrong area, just trying to think outside the box.As she vanished from just outside our door, we don't quite know where to leave stuff. @saxonborg no mountain rescue or similar in the area. Unfortunately.

We are away in central Portugal so no rescue people.....they seem to have a more harsh attitude to dogs generally...bit of a shrug and although they have helped search and spread the word, a bit bemused at how upset we are. They have pet dogs and also the "doorbell replacement" who stay chained up, not quite the close relationship we enjoy, except rarely. They spend all their time working the land and the dogs not chained up, run free and often go missing or get hit by cars. Are you aware of these people “Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SULSAR)”, apologies if I am in the wrong area, just trying to think outside the box.

So sad to hear about your lost friend, hope you find her soon,Our lovely Chloe went missing last night, she had been unwell, a bit disoriented during the evening and very cuddly. Was sick and Dave let her out and went and got stuff to clean up. In those two ? Three minutes she disappeared. She never roams or goes further than the one terrace even though we have a lot of land. Spent the several hours searching all the surrounding area, neighbours lands, woods ruins etc with a torch. And started again at daylight with our neighbours, going over the same areas. Unlikely she would have reached the road as a couple of km away and she could barely walk and then was so slow. Even so, I drove the roads in both directions with full beam on...very quiet roads. There was a heavy frost last night and as she feels the cold even indoors, we don't think she would survive it especially as so weak! It's awful not knowing and not being able to find her. All friends have put messages out in the local area and still nothing! Both of us are devastated and blaming ourselves, for thinking she was just going to be sick again or do a wee and not going with her. Don't know what to do now and feel so helpless.

have done lots more online, registered via her chip as missing and posted on various lost dog sites. We cannot find her body, and I think we know and have accepted deep down, that she is not coming back. She really was so unwell that she couldn't have gone far and, hard though it is, we think she went off to die in her own. She had a loving, (spoilt) life after the hard start when she was kept in a cage to breed puppies till 18mths. She went everywhere with us, and she has taken a bit of our hearts with her. The hardest part now is going out on our land and wondering....and going back to UK without her in April.Ruth is there any news of Chloe coming back
