Multi-trip policy (unlimited but maximum 90 days per individual trip) renewed yesterday automatically. The premium reduction is just shy of £48, almost 15%. Same health conditions covered and we are each 70+, so a premium reduction is a pleasant surprise. Only factor I can think that may have triggered the reduction is the 6 years since my heart attack, and no further problems since my mini-stroke 3 years ago. All I have to do is keep taking the tablets, and push on with trying to lose weight and build up the exercise and stamina ...

It can also be worth checking that their data is correct; they failed to update the time that had passed since I had surgery; when they corrected this, the premium went down.

Already checked that the Medical Conditions declared is recorded accurately - first thing I did when I saw a reduced premium!

Is LV a good insurance Steve ?? A lot of people on Fun rate Nationwide insurance
LV is good, Chris, though I have never had to claim on it. LV are now part of Allianz and they are quite happy with insuring us at 70+ with declared health problems (heart attack, mini stroke, high blood pressure) for trips of up to 90 days, with no restrictions on the number of trips, so we could do, say, 3 x 90 days with Elaine's Irish Passport and still fit in a short 4th trip ...
