This year's renewal with AIB had increased by £40 to £285. So I went with Ripe at £224 and should get 10% cashback taking it to under £202 which is the cheapest in the last 6 years.

I did get TCB + discount when I took it out. Discount is "genuine" compared to a normal quote (I ran various tests before going) - so not like some others who offer club discount but for some reason "its already included" and I've never seen a discount off the bottom line.

For me, insured a self build, hassle free, for the value I wanted, no tracker requirement, an all the options, and no weirdness in the small print.
