And we have an annual pilgrimage to arbroath. The smokies there are sublime. This time we also bought some hot smoked salmon we cooked in a risotto.
When we were home my wife was pleased because she found in M and S some " Arbroath loch smoked salmon" . Now I didn' t remember seeing a loch in Arbroath and looked it up on the map and there isnt one so what sort of trickery is going on here
Arbroath has protected origin status and rightly so. Well worth the trip!
