Weather Report..................

W
Very wet yesterday and heavy overnight rain
Forcast says rain at 0800 hrs and dry after, for nearly a week
So maybe at last after nearly 4 weeks of sh!t weather in Brittany, we might just have summer (maybe)
Looks like ☔️ Soon but with luck ☀️ After

Where are you Graham?
30 degrees, in the shade.. They're making less of it daily, as the Sun ascends. Merciful breezes.
The whole feel of the village has changed.. Last week the locals were all wearing winter clothes . Now it's totally different, straw hats, short sleeves and sandals... And a strong aroma of moth balls.

I bet your beautiful baby wasn't originally that colour..?
.

Velvet evening, on the terrace.
Jazz on Jango, frogs and cicadas joining in... Currently 21 degrees, no breeze.. The ideal temperature for a fruity red wine.. Or 3, if they aren't looking.
Board of Management, both involved in books.,
Mustn't grumble.
Goodnight

Bleu Tropique, always has been.

The weather in Hertfordshire was lovely this morning.
So we popped up to Bedfordshire and spent some time wandering along, down and up the escarpment that is Dunstable Downs (that's a misnomer if you're at the bottom!). The Downs are part of the Chiltern hills and there's a wonderful view northwards across Bedfordshire:

...........and it's showers.

We watched the kite flyers and the gliders of the London Gliding Club (at the bottom right of the next photo) being winched up or towed up into the patchy blue sky.

It was strange looking DOWN on the red kites (the raptor kites) soaring along the escarpment looking for small mammals and carrion.

Colin ???
