It's been a breezy but very blue day in Hertfordshire.
Both inspiring and uplifting.
As the sun sank below the horizon everything, including this usually white blossom-laden fruit tree, was awash with a golden glow:

It's another wonderful start to the day here in Hertfordshire with unbroken blue skies, an easterly breeze and an air temperature of about 14°C.
And I see that the BBC weather forecast for Saturday has been upgraded from intermittent blue to continual blue.
Whatever happened to the usual April showers? They'll need to hurry along if they're to live up to their name!
Well now I’m showered and dressed and back in the house as Bill has gone to work I can report blue skies and sunshine but with an underlying cool breeze.
Well I never thought that I‘d need a smug filter in Glasgow, but after an amazing dry and sunny spell there is more to come for the forseeable future. Wish we could get out up the West coast in the van.
