Here on Anglesey we have been helping site the daughter’s caravan on a seasonal pitch. The prevailing blustery wind speed didn’t help the erection of a new awning.Otherwise it’s been warm and grey all day and rain forecast for tomorrow, but better outlook for Sunday and beyond. Seems like we’ve brought standard Cheshire weather with us

First thing this morning it was overcast and mild with a thin cloud-free strip just where the sun was planning to rise above the horizon.
I started fishing at 0500, by which time Chris had about a 2 hour () start on me. So by 0700 I'd cleaned well over 30 mackerel down on the shoreline, the majority of which Chris had taken. In fact he very thoughtfully caught more mackerel whilst I cleaned. All this activity generated quite an appetite in me, resulting in 3 of the mackerel becoming my breakfast.
I've now moved further west but hope to revisit the same beach on my return from Cornwall.

Well despite my earlier misgivings, the rain cleared through earlier than the forecast and a lovely end to the day was a bonus ...... no mackerel here though

The weather was superb for the world’s first drive in air show this evening. Just not quite still enough to fly the Edwardian aircraft but brilliant show nevertheless. A few phone snaps.

We've had some much needed rain falling on Devon overnight: now it looks as though Mr Sun is making a comeback.

Yep I can vouch for that Chris we’ve ended up at Penzance sun splitting the trees this morning. Gonna get the bikes out and cycle to lands end about 12 miles from here.

The sun's up in the Gover Valley, Cornwall with mild, still air.
Today it'll be a paddle board day with sandy sarnies on the beach.
And did I mention that my (new to me) 11 week old grandson is beautiful?
And his 6-going-on-16 sister has grown enormously in all senses of the word?
Coronavirus has most certainly affected our lives in SO many ways.

More importantly the forecast in Manchester looks good as well so I'll be able to watch some cricket today
