There's a lovely carpark at Shildon, used as overflow, for the Rail Museum.
Nearby, is the world's ultimate greasy spoon cafe . Huge, classic breakfasts, ridiculously cheap..
If they've survived lockdown though.?

Just been told I’m not in Devon I’m in Cornwall I thought they were the same place locals always open to a wind up told them I always say I’m heading for Devon and Cornwall it’s the same place. Anybody got a map they can lend me. na think I’ll just wing it more fun my way.

Moved over to Lligwy this morning, campsites on the island look stuffed to capacity. Another beach day with the grandkids beckons, its cooler today in the breeze but plenty of sunny intervals .

Devon is more MH friendly and lots of loverly mackerels I’m just frying up 3 for brunch still at the beach.

Had some great weather down here In Cornwall hired a car for a couple of days glad wee did as we are getting to see So much more St Ives and along the coast to lands end today. we are absolutely loving it down here people are great pasties are huge and the cider is to die for. Booked into Rick Stiens restaurant in Padstow tomorrow for dinner wee treat for us.

Wully, my boy, some people might think that you're being smug.

It prevents the largest lumps of smugness getting through to your posts. !

Paul what’s a 229 D Is it something on the menu I should know about l promised the wife that I would take her somewhere nice for a special anniversary this year then we got locked down. so we had fish and chips on a wall in Helensburgh this should make up for it. Maybe that 229 D You talk about is a fried mars bar.
