The washing dried surprisingly quickly out in the estate gardens this morning. So, having crossed off a couple of jobs to satisfy my conscience, I've cycled up to one of my favourite (fairly) local spots.
Yep, and plenty of others like Dunstable Downs too:

Lovely day, at 8am.
Gentle southern breeze. As forecast.
Management put a big washer load on , overnight, on cheap electric.
Pegged it out, first thing.
While she was in the shower, one of similar intensity occurred outside .
I bundled the laundry back in, getting a soaking, too.

I followed her into the shower, emerging to find her re- pegging away, in perfect sunshine
Showers forecast soon.
