Mixed day in Cheshire, some heavy showers with sunny intervals, managed to get some more hedge cutting done, hopefully finish tomorrow, then a huge brash fire in the field when the wind is in the right direction, ably assisted by my propane torch.

Temperature has nose dived to 6 degrees in Devon, but to keep a bit of normality.... tis raining.

I just looked outside in the hope that I could do some garden tidying up and you guessed it...its raining!

I might retrain to be a weather forecaster!

Hertfordshire had overnight and early morning rain - which has just stopped.
It feels chilly at 7°C but the sun is peeping out from behind the diminishing clouds - so here's hoping!

Rain started at 0315. Just enough to wake us up,.. then stopped
Then at 0410.... Ditto...
And at 6.30.
Muggy and overcast
Decided to cut back the Bougainvillia ... Hardly bleeding, after an hour of hatcking.
Checked Sunday's bonfire ...it was still smouldering.
So much for the rain..
