If we could get 2 nights of this a week, throughout the year.....
We'd really be in Paradise.

Very nice, gentle rain, though.. glugging into the cisterns
Long, luxury " Hotel ", showers for us....
Looking fair for tomorrow's market..
The whole village is holding it's breath.

A deluge of biblical proportions fell on Herts about 30 minutes ago.
Now we have blue from horizon to horizon.

A rare occurrence.
Wind shifted from S.E to NW.
Should bring dry cool conditions.
The Gipsy traders are just pulling into the market field.

Started off a bit grim down yere, but Mrs Sun has just blessed us with her company.

Herts has been stunning today with plenty of brilliant blue sky overhead.
So I pottered along the Lea Valley for a good few kilometres on the Brompton, had a baking session on my return and finished the day with a wander around St Albans:



The conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn could be seen briefly just above the southwest horizon and Mars higher in the sky in the northeast.
One of those 'good-to-be-alive' days.

The weather Gods smiled on us.
I've got the smugfilter turned up full.
Picked up 3 BBQ chickens and brought them for a bubble party on the terraces.
That's our Xmas party done and dusted.
