Weather Report..................

Stiff neck, from watching the Geminid Meteor display, last night.
By midnight it had clouded over..
A large glass of brandy sure improves one's night vision..

Sunshine and showers forecast and happening.

It's not raining in Hertfordshire - in fact we have blue skies.

(I like the way that sentence sits on the page and it would certainly stand restating ..........)

Do I detect a hint of smugness, Colin..?
Or is it irony..?
I have an almost unused irony filter, going cheap
Hope it continues, anyroadup.

Not an overexciting day, some sunshine, luckily during breakfast and lunch.
Sock free day.

Lovely day here.
There's a demented OAP festooning Xmas decorations about,
Every now and again, there's a crash or crunch, followed by most unladylike language.
I'm off to hide in the shed.
This will be my excuse for not wrestling with online passport renewals.

It's bright and breezy in Herts this morning.
So I'll fix the puncture that the Brompton collected yesterday afternoon, free off the intermittently sticky pedal (it's a pretty hopeless, non-serviceable thing as far as I can see).
Then, hopefully, I'll put them both to the test before the rain band arrives from CTL later today.

Big rain...?

Gentle showers, with a nice 15 minutes downpour. Enough to keep the dust down. 500 litres of pure water in store.
The Mayor had been allowed to have a Xmas market, Sunday. The first since September.
Guess when the big rain has been moved back to..?
Still.. They don't always get it right.
We've had winds from all round the compass, on and off today.
Never bored.
