We still have the clouds keeping us at a toasty 7 degrees, but the dry NW breeze makes it feel cooler.

We wondered what that smell of burning was.
They don't make them as strong as the German ones

There's plenty of blue above Hertfordshire with a gentle northeast breeze bringing air at 8°C.
It looks as if the blue will be raising our spirits for most of the day and the temperature could well climb another 3°C or 4°C by lunchtime.
So hopefully plenty of outdooring to come.

The breeze has swung around to the north west but................................. yes you guessed, its still grey and heading upwards of 8 degrees

Been busy ,had my smfu ,washed decking for final time,all furniture washed along with deck banisters,emptied sheds checked cycles etc ,got rid of tarantula spiders(2) out of swmbo shed if she had seen em no more visits to the shedI was tempted to bring them in a jar but thought better off.
hoovered lawn,repaired a fence spar ,had a coffee and wrap

Another wonderful day yesterday. It’s overcast and 8 degrees at present, but the cloud is due to burn off for another fine dry day. ️

Modesty forbids me to tell you what a perfect morning we're having .

I'll say nothing of the gentle breeze, unbroken blue skies and I refuse to discuss how pleasantly warm it is.

It's continuous and unbroken above Hertfordshire.
And I'm delighted to report that this time it's blue, not grey.
It's currently 7°C with a high in double figures expected by lunchtime. And just a murmur of a breeze.
So some checking of the Moho, some kite line trimming - and some bike riding is on the agenda.

After yesterday's grey and dull start, the skies cleared early afternoon to end the day with some welcome sunshine. This morning is a carbon copy of yesterday so for it brightening up later. Either way we have no rain forecast until Friday.
