By co-incidence, our youngest son sent a video tonight of various aircraft & helicopters water bombing fires not too far from him in Spain.

Us too, a warm 20° with a blue sky and almost no cooling breeze.

Started cutting our laurel hedges very carefully, as I spotted a newly born goldfinch on a feeder yesterday. So new it didn't know what sunflower hearts are for.

Gentle Northerly breezes made it bearable overnight.. with all windows and veluxes open.
They've subsided now.
28, at breakfast, shaded by the trees.
Over 40 now. Max 47.
We're scuttling to the north frontage. Into the shaded carport Café.. With the fan on.
G,&T and TMS is the plan for today..

Grey start but a few sunny spells have developed, currently 19° in Cheshire. Gardening jobs finished, van loading to commence at 17.00 hours ........ off to Anglesey tomorrow for a short trip before the van gets laid up whilst I fix the airbag ecu issue.

Were given up on the outdoors life..
