Weather Report..................

We got about half the rain expected
About 2000 litres in the tanks..
Sitting out on the terrace, last night, I had to put my dressing gown on..
Already got some flowers breaking through. Oranges and pomegranates flourishing.
Cloudy , breezy 20 degrees today. Good weather for gardening.
Strange wind patterns.
We've high, white clouds creeping on from the NW. Lower, dark ones from the SW. And an easterly has just slammed the pumphouse door, giving us a shock.
Showers forecast for this afternoon and then no more.

Update...
All change.
Without telling the weather forecasters,
The wind changed and a 3 hour thunderstorm blew in.
Instead of the 600 litres of water that we expected to collect, we've taken on 2000.
We're very happy bunnies, and so are our neighbours.
If we can get another 1000 litres, we should be safely through to May, 2022.

Update, lovely bike ride to Loix, cloudy with sunny intervals (moules frites for lunch Paul 😀). The day has steadily improved to a full sun evening. Our lovely french neighbours were just leaving on our return and left us with about 15kg of potatoes, a marrow and courgettes from his allotment near Limoges. Sometimes, normal seems to have returned 👍👍

What a perfect day!

It's warm, with a bright clear sky, and the lightest breeze. Not a drop of rain is forecast, but all our water butts are full.

Off out for a walk through the fields before the heavy dew disappears.
