Management's best friend is coming to be our first guest for nearly 2 years.

Misty start, pleasant.
Slight dew.. lovely orange blossom scents.

Clearing now and sunny day , max 29, forecast. No mention of rain in the coming 10 days.
The flies seem to have found something better to do and only a few have joined us for breakfast.

It's still and grey over Hertfordshire this morning with an air temperature of 10°C now and about 15°C expected later.
So I'll have my covid-19 booster jab this morning.

On another positive note, yesterday I exchanged contracts on the sale of my present house. The next (new build) house even further south of Herts won't be ready until perhaps mid November, so from 25th October I'll be homeless (though have a very healthy bank balance!).
It's going to be fairly hectic in the coming weeks so I'll drop by here in order to be aware of what's going on but likely not post until things settle down for me.

Take care everyone - and I'll be back in the fold presently.
