Last time we stayed on that car park the gritter kindly arrived at 8am which enabled us to continue our trip!Bright sunshine at home but 15 minutes drive away at the top of the Cairn o’Mount road things look a bit different (excuse poor photo from the conservatory - too much reflection from the sun!)

A few years back the council closed the road for a month as the gritter drivers refused to go over it after a gritter slipped and overturned. The driver jumped out, broke his ankle and had to be taken off by helicopter!
