Here near the Ashdown Forest it started out beautifully, with a bright blue sky and light wind. It's slightly reduced to 9° with an increased possibility of an occasional shower later this afternoon and on into the evening.

Going to clean the windows after the recent gales made them filthy. Must remember not to fall off the ladder. 😳

Another wet windy day. This is getting boring
:confused::confused::confused::confused:
Could be worse; we could be woodworms or necrophiliacs. That would really be boring and dead boring ... :oops: (y) There is a 3rd option which could be classified as relatively boring, but if I mention it, I shall be banned from the Forum ...

Spent the last 2 nights parked up beside the sea at Arbroath. Last night the wind was really strong and kept us awake with the noise of the wind and the waves. Thank goodness for the hydraulic levellers as they kept the van nice and steady! Beautiful park up spot though and a lovely sunny day yesterday. Home now and it’s windy, cold and p*****g down.

Much as I'd someone to clean my windows, I've now done them. We'll, I've done the one's that my wife will notice.

As predicted, the rain clouds arrive, dump their load, and pass on by. It's till bright between the various showers, and I got a morning walk in. 😀

Decided that the rain was in for the day [as forecast] so heavy anorak and woolly hat for the 1/2 mile walk to he garage to retrieve Brunhilde. Arrived like a drowned rat, and water running off my coat, all over Reception floor. No work needed on Brunhilde, no charge, started the Van up and ferreting round for lens cloth to clear my specs [needed 2 to get clear, dry vision]. Neighbours' cleaner parked in Brunhilde's space so tight manoeuvre, and much cursing. That was 15 minutes ago. Someone's just walked past the window, with anorak hood down and coat unzipped. The rain has stopped!

I'd stop and tell you about my paranoia, but they'd catch up with me ... :D

The rain started just before 7.00am and it's in for the morning with a high of 7°.

The better news is that it'll die out this afternoon.
