Just checking the weather warnings etc before rebooking the Newhaven to Dieppe, so thanks for the info! Swithering between Wednesday 2nd March and a more sane timeframe of Sunday 6th March to allow time for a considered Van packing and cleaning and then to pootle down from Scotland

I was feeling pretty envious of you lot heading off soon as we’re going to be at least a month behind you due to grandchild minding duties in Guernsey delaying our departure. However I’ve just realised that when you’re all back ”enjoying” the Scottish weather again we’ll still be over there lapping up the sunshine and sitting out drinking red wine!

We did a similar trip years back in our first motorhome and loved it. Travelled into Croatia from the north via Lake Garda, Venice etc. then down the coast and back to Italy via the ferry from Zadar to Ancona.

Never seen his kegs and don't want to so not sure how grey it is over the water .wait I will go upstairs and look across the water

Our motorhome guests are due to arrive later this afternoon .
No rain forecast, last night, but is due this afternoon, we're told .
So 2 quick washer loads put on. .
While I was in the shower ..It poured for 5 minutes .
Prospect of a house full of guests and baskets of damp laundry..
Sunshine all day tomorrow...... Allegedly.
