We had a gusty night.
Winds from the Southwest make it coolish.
Yesterday, we were considering breakfast on the terrace and I topped up my all-over suntan, for a while.
Not today, though.

Overcast, gusting wind, and occasional rain which becomes heavier around late afternoon. A yellow weather warning has been issued.

The high winds are blasting heavy rain against the house windows.

9 Degrees, sunshine/showers, cloud, sea mist and gusting winds in regular rotation. Just missing the snow and hail for a full house. Changing every 10 minutes or so this morning, but getting worse and more prolonged bad weather this afternoon. 'All over the place' at present. Or, as a wag on Twitter reported:

'For Sale: 4 Wheelie Bins, 2 trampolines, sundry roof tiles and 2 garden sheds. More stock arriving throughout the day ...'

Another windy day here. River levels rising nicely. Not concerning yet but upstream on flood warning so matter of time before alert. Should be ok but never battled the flood gates in high winds

6 Degrees [Sheila Ferguson and her mates with a mirror ...] and sunny spells behind the clouds. Wind appears to have died down. Couple of Twitter users reporting that the Ayrshire coast took a battering from Storm Franklin overnight; sometimes, being on the east coast has its advantages ...
