Weather Report..................

The north seems to have the best of it. (y)

After overnight rain we have a mild morning with a thick mist hanging over our part of Sussex.

The rain is expected to return around lunch time, and we're going to get wet more than once today.

No problem, available everywhere, but a record £107 to fill our little van!
Just looked back on my spreadsheet. First tank of diesel on delivery on 21 April 21 cost £88.34 for 72.00 litres. Going by today's price, that would have increased to £108.65. The trip to Spain is about 1850 miles each way so around £425 each way just for fuel, unless diesel in Spain is a lot cheaper ... 'This is going to hurt', springs to mind ...

Our Bank has just declared bumper profits; wonder if they'd like to sponsor us? :D

You made a wise move! Wind is whipping across from the Forth, blowing light rain/moisture in the air, 'that rain that gets you proper wet ...' as Peter Kay says; quite a wind chill factor too, feeling pure dead Baltic [I made the mistake of washing the car whilst having the M/Home new n/s front tyre balance weight replaced, after the 3 weeks old version fell off last night ...]

It's presently darker than the norm in mid December, and thoroughly miserable! Lounge lights on before 3pm!

The forecast says 5 degrees and cloud. The weather says heavy rain. Ideal for packing and washing the Van; the latter looks like it may be a soap free contactless rinsing only

After yesterday's rain it's turned into a dry, bright day, here in East Sussex, with a light breeze and 10° high. :)
