Tenerife is probably the nicest place on the planet for a holiday. I went there over 20 times before I retired. If you go down to Playa de las Américas, get onto the seafront and turn left, you’ll soon come to a complex with bar and food facilities, which can only be described as paradise on earth. Absolutely stunning, as is the northern part of the island. Puerto De la Cruz is more traditional though bat has some fantastic shops, bars and park areas. In the evenings, you can sit in a lovely little town square... Plaza San Charco, if memory serves me correctly... and listen to haunting pan pie music played by a group of very talented musicians. This post took me right back there, thanksWeather Report..................

SWINE ,,,,,,!Parked up a a superb Halt Nautique at Gannay sur Loire (services all free!) and still sitting out in full sun having dinner. During the day the van thermometer said 24deg and I well believe it. Even now it’s showing 18.
Now that looks far nicer than the municipal at Digoin! I hope that SWMBO admits that you were right all along.A bit annoyed because SWMBO wanted to go on a site tonight as she wanted to do some clothes washing, and I hate sites! However weather is making up for it with wall to wall sunshine and 21deg in Digoin. Off to a canal side bar for a few cool beers to cheer me up!
