All the locals are decamping up to the hills, for May Day celebration.
Picnics in the woods, by the dammed stream.
Kids in the pool, folklore displays and dancing..
Bit too hectic for us.
We'll amble into the village and view the satirical scarecrows of village dignitaries and personalities.

After lots of rain yesterday it’s a glorious morning here at Loch Creran, and should be perfect for today’s drive home.

Back from a decent woodland walk in 13 degrees, where we noticed two Old Timers recreating vintage looking cars out of timber and aluminium on an original chassis.

The weather is glorious, although we might have a drop of the promised and much needed rain later.

Oh yes it did! Just got diverted to the Hereford Rally where the Celestial Director of Operations had a bigger watering can, allowing 5 minute breaks whilst he refilled it ...

It became so cold as the winds changed Northerly, I had to come in and put some clothes on.
The very ones that Management and put away for Summer Storage, 3 hours earlier..

The forecast for tomorrow, starting at 0400hrs is for lots of it, and how we need it. Unless the forecasters change their minds, it'll rain all day.

We got a reluctant, timid Thunderstorm.
It crept in , 8 hours later than
forecast made a surly nuisance of itself. then meandered off.
Leaving about 25 litres of dusty water in my sumps.
Gave the greenery a freshen up.
Nothing forecast for the next 10 .days
