Certainly roof off when we took the 2cv out, 24 degrees was very pleasant.

After a warm night the temperature has already risen to 28 degrees, and let's hope it stops there or there'll be thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy but dry for now and expecting a few showers on the way down to Kelso. Should be pleasantly warm away from the intense heat further South. 🌦🌥

Pleasantly breezy and a cool 30 under a flapping parasol.
There's been a prolonged bushfire close to Faro airport. 25 miles SW of us.
Local winds are from ESE, meaning that the smoke and smuts will run along the coast
Through the Golden Triangle of Vilamoura, Val de Lobo & Quinta de lago.. All Developed from fever swampland into the most expensive and exclusive real estate in Europe..
Pity those poor rich b' stsrds who've paid a fortune to play golf on some of the most expensive courses.. having to sit it out in their luxurious villas.
There's always someone worse off than yourself.
Then it wafts through the Blackpool Belt resorts..
They'll hardly notice any difference in Albufeira.

After a hot and uncomfortable night, the daytime temperature has dropped to a slightly more respectable 26 degrees. No rain forecast yet.
