Weather Report..................

I regret to say that it's cooler here, sitting in breezy shade, than Northern England.
Can't complain ...

I just returned from bottle bank, which is a short walk. Pharmacy has one of these neon type signs which show the day, date, time, and temp, no idea how accurate the device is, it read 41c. Brutal!!

Viewing tonight's news. Many campsites around Gironde area evacuated. On one site a gas bottle exploded, no one hurt. Footage of Pompiers gathering up gas tanks and gently depositing tanks into site swimming pool. I have never seen the likes of this before. We’re hooked up here, think I’ll remove my tank and store in basement cave, by far cooler!
I felt for business owners, those who survived covid and hoping for a bumper summer, dashed by these serious forest fires!

We are forecast another hot dry day with a high of 34 degrees.

The good news is that temperatures should return to more practical levels after this evening. 👍

It would be nice if we could dance naked in the pouring rain..
But it won't be for at least 6 weeks.

Went to Carnac today late on visiting auld haunts spending a few days in this area quiberon etc
We love this area too. If you are in to ancient history as much as me then I strongly recommend Locmariaquer. There is so much to see and walk to.

We used to stay at Camping La Ferme Fleurie, Vge de Kerlogonan, 56740 Locmariaquer. It was owned by a lovely old lady who left all the admin to a kind Dutch fella, who camped in his van FOC for his efforts. I suspect she might have passed away, but I'll still visit next time we are in the area.

After a little thunder and a few drops of overnight rain the temperature has dropped at last. The forecast is for 25 degrees, and a little more necessary rain this evening. ☀️ 🌨️ 👍
