Weather Report..................

First breakfast outdoors, since the weekend.
They told us to expect 40 mm rain.
We got 8.
The garden is happy, the birds are chirpy and frisky.
It's springtime.
Clouding over now.
Who knows what to expect.?
Mustnt grumble.
 
A bright dry day, with light cloud, a gentle breeze and 17 degrees. A lovely Autumnal day in the fields. 🙂

After a cool night, a dry bright day, and with a high of 17 degrees, we are now babysitting for at least 13 hours, like so many other grandparents. 👍

After a chilly night, it's been a really nice and bright, dry day.

Arose early, and by great good fortune (and some logic) captured a couple of screen shots of the family inside Westminster Hall from the live feed.

Took grandchild and her mutt for a walk in the bright sunshine. It's 12 degrees now, and Summer is drifting into Autumn.

Little fluffy clouds.

Dead calm.
AccuWeather tells us it's a yellow thunderstorm warning.
XC Weather tells us it's going to be fine and dry.
Breakfast on the terrace.
Eeni meeni money mo..?
I've irrigated.
That's bound to bring the rain.
 
It's a beautiful day and should also reach 18 degrees here. Perfect for a little valeting. 👍

Rain.. XC Weather got the morning right and tonight wrong..
AccuWeather.. won on points, but the storm arrived 12 hours later than they planned
XC 2 Accu 3.
Classic sub- tropical storm. We sat out, watching it come inland, after giving the tourist belt a pasting.
Then a crescendo. Sounds, lights deluge..
The switchboard tripped . I got soaked connecting up the cisterna.
And it's moving north, 15 minutes later.
Who needs Telly ?
 
Bog - eyed, after a turbulent night.
Lovely start. Clouding up and getting steamy.
Yellow thunderstorm warning for this afternoon.
 
A beautiful dry day travelling through superb countryside under a bright blue sky

Ended up walking to a Devon pub with a friend I've known for over 47 years. Hopefully more Otter Ale tomorrow. 🍻
 
Back to normal today.
View from the breakfast table.
Pleasant 27 in the shade.. Not so pleasant in the full Sunshine.
But I'm not going there to find out how unpleasant.
Better check the G&T supply.

We've a beautiful Autumn day, dry and mild. Going for a walk along the headlands, and possibly a swift pint. 🌤️ 🍺 :)
