Weather Report..................

Storm Danielle due to hit us Monday and Tues, we're confidently told.
After 4 bakingly dry months, the water will just run off into the sea, 7 miles south and 500 metres below us.
Our tractor man, is gloomy.
He needs light rain, over a longer period.

After what seemed a cooler evening and night, we have a lovely warm day here too, with a 22 degree high. ☀️ ⛅

Woke to a pea souper .
Dead calm and 21 degrees.
First rainspots 9.30.
We were in a taxi.
The driver had had the car since early June..
He'd never used the wipers before.
Still no stormyness, but very welcome drizzle.

Very damp and humid.
No sign of the projected thunderstorm... Yet.
It's a joy to hear the lovely, soft, pure rainwater trickling into the cistern.
Perhaps we'll collect 3 bonus weeks supply, this time.
A life saver for our neighbours.
You can almost hear the Olive, Fig, Carob and Almond trees sighing with pleasure, as they flex their branches and spread their parched leaves.
A drop of this water has really improved my brandy nightcap.
It don't take much to please this raddled old motorhomer.
Night all.

HUH..!
Just drizzle..
What a let down !
By the time we'd stripped off, to dance in it... It had stopped.
Won't need to irrigate for a couple of days and we've taken on about 500 litres.. , about a week's worth.
Better than nowt.
Grey, windy and cool.
So's the weather.

A dreary damp day, but mild. Light rain, but nothing heavy.

Just perfect for spending it on my van's annual checks. 👍 🙂

We've got showers and rainbows.
19 degrees.
It's second Springtime..
After the first rain, everything wakes up and we get the aroma of Lavender and Cistus.. The birds sound cheerful, too.

After heavy overnight rain, the day steadily improved until it matched London where it has been dry and bright.
