Really wet and windy here near Banchory today. Very unpleasant for the lycra clad Tour of Britain cyclists who are racing from Aberdeen to Glenshee today!
Still 22 degrees here, and absolutely beautiful. Think we'll go back to the same pub as yesterday for a sherbet this evening, and possibly also a meal if Yvonne fancies it.
After a short burst of overnight rain, we're back from a decent circular walk under a lovely warm blue sky. For a while it looked and smelt like rain, but it's remained dry.
Managed to escape the Balmoral hoo-ha at home today by making a trip to Penwortham to tidy up FIL‘s garden. Unfortunately been driven inside by the rain at present!
Reign..?
All this use of that word..?
We were promised heavy downpours, early next week. Then they completely changed the forecast, last night.
Now one says only sporadic drizzle.
The other, deluge.!
I dunno !
24○ in the shade.
33 in the full Sun.
Brightening up here on Royal Deeside now but it’s not really helping to lighten the mood. Having to head off Ballater / Balmoral way this afternoon on grand parenting duties - hope the assembled hordes don’t get in my way.
