Cooler now.
Cloudy and a breeze.
Going for a totally unnecessary stroll...

In the South, after a quick splash of overnight rain, it's overcast, but dry and warm.

Spotted my first ever Hummingbird Hawk Moth taking nectar from our Hot Lips Salvias. Heard it before I saw it. 👍
 
We can look forward to a lovely sunny day with a gentle breeze, and a high of 26 degrees. 🙂

It is forecast to significantly change this evening when heavy thunderstorms will roll in. We do need the rain. 👍

Cloudy.
Light dew. Is this Autumn..?
All the forecasts insist that is 32 degrees, and unbroken sunshine ?
Do I irrigate or risk it and save water ?
Even in Paradise, we have problems..

The overnight thunderstorms have abated, leaving us with torrential rain that will continue throughout the day.

We wanted rain, and we've got it. 🤣
 
Late breakfast .
Back under the Olive Tree. It's 28 degrees, sunny, with a delightful breeze.
Won't last long .. 35 degrees from lunchtime to dusk.
Time to take cover.
 
Hot sticky evening.
There's the local, 3 day version of Glastonbury, firing up soon.. 300 yards below us.
No chance of a kip before 4 am.
So we're going to have to join them.
Maybe a little subdued tomorrow.
There's so many folk we have to thank..
 
It's a beautifully dry Summer's day with wall to wall blue skies and the lightest breeze.

Currently 20 degrees and it might top out at a perfect 23. ☀️☀️

Hot, but bearable.
We're 2/3 of the way through a 3 night fiesta 250 yards below us.. music between 2200 and 0400. Loud & bouncy .
One gigantic party.
As we're not going to get any kip, we decided to join in .
Discovered a distant bushfire While relaxing outside at 2.30..
Just caught our attention as everyone else was boogying. And boozyling.
Took the firemen 6 hours to tame it..
Are we happy that we left early.. ?
We'll do the same tonight.
At 28 degrees, we're looking forward to one last evening..
We can see all the lighting, lasers and Pyrotechnics..
 
It's been a lovely day and still 20 degrees. Almost time to relax with something red. 🍷👍

It's a funny old 'fair to middling' day here. Bits of sun, bits of cloud, it may rain and it may not. 🌨️ ☀️ 🙂
