Tony, Mid Clowncil must be close to the bottom in the hopeless league. They are investing millions at hill end ski slop, yet our roads are falling to bits.
Similar for us when we get home tomorrow but we’ve only been away 5 weeks so hopefully things won’t be too untidy in the garden. Luckily the haar had cleared by the time we crossed the bridge at around 11 this morning as it so often does with the sun burning it off. But instead of taking the short route home over the Cairn we had to divert via Stonehaven and the slug road as the cairn was closed. This brought us right back into contact with the damp and the cold of the haar for 15 minutes or so down by the sea before we could climb back out of it heading west to Banchory which is still at 24 deg now.
And across the water, so not a Haar, or even a 'Cry Wolf' as my musical Norwegian pun would have it ... [to distinguish it from Alan Partridge ...]
