The beautiful weather continues in East Sussex with a bright, dry day, cooling light westerlies and 23 degrees.

Overnight at the Drum, its a bright sunny start in Folkestone, no doubt it will be raining by the time we get back to Cheshire

Well the sun is still shining on the M40 just shy of Warwick, but that's all the good news, 3 lane traffic jam due to vehicle fire/accident, not expected to be moving for a couple of hours ....... this conversion is parked next to us .......

I though there was a slight view of blue sky for a moment, but might have been mistaken. Wet, windy and cold mostly.

Been staying at the RNLI lifeboat college hotel in Poole these past few days. Absolute wall to wall sunshine every day and reached 24deg at lunchtime. Mind you it turned into torrential rain and a force 8 when I was in the lifeboat training simulator. But bright sunshine again as soon as I came out!!

Well back in Cheshire its dull, grey, very still but warmish, allegedly its 22° but it doesn't feel like a French 22°

Flat calm sunny crossing to Guernsey today. Now relaxing in sons garden at 25 deg, lucky we thought of packing shorts!
