Dreich here, very grey with rain. Weather coming in from the East, and just back from our wood over the back from me, wind picking up, nothing excessive to date.

I agree with Bill, Tony. Save the stored energy just in case. Look on the positive side though, think of all the fallen trees you can recycle using your stealth chainsaw when the storm subsides

Got my eye on a couple of trees that are swaying about a fair bit in the forest behind the house as it’s fairly blowing up here. Also pouring rain so not going out yet! Just on the edge of the met office red weather warning.

Surrounded by flooded roads and closed road bridges but at least the rain has eased off and not so windy now. Power outage still on but storage battery is doing stirling service. Shouldn’t really have ventured out today but Tesla booked in at Dinnet Garage for MoT so braved the elements to get here - just waiting in reception for good or bad news no.

Back home now and it’s really quite pleasant. Rain stopped, wind died down and sun is out but a cold breeze, although the red warning has been extended for another 24 hours.
Bl****y car failed MoT on a split CV gaiter which will be a costly job knowing Tesla prices.
