It’s looking pretty bad up that way Tony. Think that it may well be worth having the back up ready.Just got notification from my home storage battery telling me that “storm watch” has been automatically activated (first time we have ever had this since the battery and back up system was installed). This means the battery will remain fully charged in case of power cut, and until the storm watch ends or a power cut occurs we will be using grid power to run the house which I hate as it costs money! So the quandary is do I cancel the storm watch and use battery power now in the hope that we don’t get an outage or leave as is?
I agree with Bill, Tony. Save the stored energy just in case. Look on the positive side though, think of all the fallen trees you can recycle using your stealth chainsaw when the storm subsidesJust got notification from my home storage battery telling me that “storm watch” has been automatically activated (first time we have ever had this since the battery and back up system was installed).
