Weather Report..................

Not stopped raining all night. Rivers Feugh and Dee close to bursting their banks and the photo shows flooding at the end of our track due to hill water run off.

Tony, be careful with the Tesla in this weather. Read this article about Edinburgh Tesla owner 17k bill due to water ingress into battery bank.

I read that yesterday Terry just after I got home after driving through flood water!! Had to take the car out again just to check it was still working.
Off the road now as it failed its MoT on split CV gaiter and MoT expires next week. Waiting to see when I can get it fixed by which time, hopefully, floods will have gone down.
Whats Midlothian like at the moment? Haven’t heard from our daughter in Penicuik so I guess they’re out basking in hot sunshine.

I reckon the Tesla in article may have had a manufacturing fault, and dealer is chancing their hand with the owner?

I reckon Midlothian missed a great deal of the storm, yes we have had rain, nothing compared to other areas of Scotland. The wind picked up at times, but where I am, nothing drastic. Yet a half hour down the road to Dunbar and North Berwick, both towns took a hammering, the Cuick has its own micro climate up there, anything could happen weather wise.

Stay safe up there 👍

Much better day in Staffs, only 10° but the wind has backed off and its been dry since early morning. We even have a smattering of blue sky and the odd ray of sunshine.

Burntisland beach is now much nearer than 100 metres ... The promenade bench seats are less than 6 inches clear of the sand, looking perfect for a Japanese Tea Ceremony ... :ROFLMAO:

I laughed when I saw Bill groan as Paul joked about moving to Blackpool. 😄

It's a lovely bright dry day in the Weald, with a light westerley breeze, and 14 degree high. ⛅⛅⛅
