We're now settled for another wild camp, this time overlooking La Loire.
It's still, humid, and about 27°C.
So I've caught up on reading this afternoon rather than go for a long run.

cooled down a lot now.......weatherman says thunder due in next few days..........true what they say....make hay whilst the sun shines.........
lets see if this post works........couldnt get it to post on another thread
Just starting to spit, as forecast.
Some rain due overnight.
The talk in the village is that they're safe for the summer, even if there's no more rain.. So it's all a bonus now.
Nippy now, the wind has changed to a sharpish westerly.
3 dimplexes on now.
Just before leaving our wild camp overlooking La Loire this morning we had a light shower of rain. We've now pottered along the river, switching banks and occasionally following the Canal Latéral a La Loire.
I believe the weather is a trifle depressing in the UK so here's a picture of some bluebells I took yesterday to cheer us all up:
By gum.. It's over 20 years since I last saw a Bluebell .
The rain arrived at 12. 30am. It took me 5 minutes to get my mac on and connect up. 10 minutes of decent rain has given us 2 days supply of water.
Cool, cloudy, sunny intervals,now.
Patchy drizzle forecast.
The forecast and the wind both changed overnight.
Southerly winds and frequent showers , it says.
We've had had 9 hours worth... And it looks set.
The neighbours and their trees won't be complaining.
