Another beautiful morning with a fresh, pleasant breeze , keeping temperatures reasonable.
Up early, to be ready for the recovery truck, taking the van back to UK..
All went smoothly and we hope it continues ... All the way to Derby, Where it's builder , Richard will spruce it up and let someone else have a turn to enjoy it.

Very sad that you’ve had to let it go. It will probably appear in the club when sold, so we’ll let you know how it gets on. Hope Jenny is feeling better soon, whatever you do keep posting here.

oooo errrr......wouldnt like to be driving behind that........what with mh...on top shelf.........ooh no,
shame you have to part with it........however.....a relief to know its now on its way back to uk.........sorted.
hope jenny improves soon....take care.......
really have to admire the drivers of this transporter vehicles.........dont know how they cope......
 
Hertfordshire is blanketed in blue this morning.
So I'll go for a bike ride.
And today, unlike yesterday, I'll hopefully not head-butt the pavement when avoiding father-and-son football teams.
Because It hurts.
A great deal.

morning...just looking at your pics of vehicle transporter......do you have any pics of it showing your van when its fully loaded on the top shelf............................hope the driver remembers the height if he has to negotiate going under a bridge....

Oh yes, Trixie..We have photos.
Luckily, its on the lowest part of the huge articulated trailer.
Brian, the trucker, was charming, professional and in no hurry.

Another breezy, clear blue sky, day.
We're under the parasol on the terrace.
We only go indoors to use the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.
 
31 here in Athens. Will report back later about Santorini. I expect it to be a little cooler with the sea breeze.

Not a single motorhome spotted, only a couple of campers and 1 was a T2.

I suspect anyone needing parts for old vehicles might want to check Greek eBay if they is such a thing. They run some old vehicles here. I lost count of the number of ford Orion and Vauxhall Belmont’s still on the road out here.

Garth - we are both doing fine.
