Well that didn't take long! As forecast, the rain has arrived in Herts.
So I'll pop over to that part of the Thames estuary that lies in Essex.

lovely sunny day yesterday...today a different story....overcast ....chilly....slight breeze........possibly get rain later.......
im still in the north east...........got the awning dried and put away yesterday whilst the sun was out...thank goodness.

It has been raining all day here in "the National Forest". Conkers CCC site. Its a cloudburst from a thunderstorm now. Amazing how water finds a way in, probably through the fixing for the awning. Towels deployed.

After a rainy start it’s been lovely on the IOM today, plenty of cloud turning to fog as it drifts out to sea but pleasantly mild.
Just one short sharp shower this evening.
