We have a clear sky and a healthy covering of frost in Hertfordshire this morning.
The expected high is 3°C with a gentle breeze from the west, which means that we're likely to edge out of 2020 with little, if any, rain.
I can cope with that.

We just had a snow flurry - the first of the winter for us here in west Wales. It's grey and overcast now and quite chilly!
 
Well, here we are at the final day of 2020.
I'd like to wish all the contributors, followers, friends and weather aficionados who have made this thread such a pleasant place to visit during the past twelve months a very Happy New Year.
May you find sunshine and blue skies wherever you wander and under whatever circumstances you find yourself in 2021.

Herts is chilly right now but by midday we're expecting the temperature to rise to zero.
The air is still so the only wind chill will come from my forward motion on the Brompton.

Early morning sleet in Cheshire has given way to blue sky and white clouds, still plenty of frozen lying snow though and temperatures just creeping above freezing.
 
Dear Weather watchers.
We'll be under the stars.
All alone, muffled up against the cold NW wind .
Missing friends and family, here and in UK.
We'll raise a glass to a better New Year's Eve , next year.
