Right now it's not raining in Herts, but we expect heavy showers today before the weather settles down for a dry spell.
Somehow I'll cope.
But only because us Southerners are bred to cope with adversity.

Mercifully cooler overnight and a fresh pleasant 24 degrees, owing to northerly winds.
31 max later.. A bonus.
Winds due to ease, midweek, bringing 40 degrees.

It's 18° in East Sussex, and as predicted we have thunder, lightning, and rain.

It came 7 hours later than the met office suggested. Very pleased I ignored them and simply got on with stuff.

According to the forecast, today is the start of at least 5 days nice weather. It is dry and the sun threatens, so not a bad start here in west Wales.
