Today was forecast to be lovely, and it was. It's cooling down in the evenings these days, and although the forecast suggests a minimum of 5 degrees there's a rumour there might even be a frost.

It’s been very wet and windy through the morning but has now brightened up to a sunny afternoon. 🌧🌦

It's a grey day today, but mild.

Tonight it's going to chuck it down, so I'd better stop planning trips away and quickly check the gutters and surface drain. Then we'll be fine.

I would like to tell you that after overnight rain it was beautiful. Trouble is that it wasn't.

It poured down all morning until lunch time, when it turned out nice again. We spent the afternoon in the sun getting the garden ready for winter.

Hazy sunshine all day.
Management went into Spring cleaning mode.
Summer clothes away. Winter woollies in evidence.

Frisky breezes and all the flies in the world to plague us. Henry the Vacuum sorts them.
Lovely, calm and velvet evening. Pleasant dinner outdoors..

I missed reporting yesterday and it was a lovely day. Today however it’s been mostly rain. 🌥🌧

Another fine Autumnal day.
Warmed up later, as the breezes dropped. 26 max.
That seems to be the pattern for a while
The passing Goatherd is worried about the lack of rain..
As his flock gleefully nibbled the only green grass for miles..
On the slope below our cess pit.
If he offers us a kid for Xmas, we'll think twice.
His Mother makes a tasty goat's milk cheese, though.

Today has been overcast with a few drops of rain. It's been 17 degrees, which is pleasantly mild and allows me to get things done.

Contrary to the forecasts, it's been hot and close. They are now warning of Sahara Dust clouds blowing in.
Neighbours are starting to get itchy about the lack of rain. Could be worse.Pakistan or Ukraine.
Can't complain. We've got the white wine lake to tackle.
