A bright start has turned overcast and very humid. The temp is rising to 23 degrees, possibly leading to thunderstorms.

Best continue in the garden until the rain hits, then move into a shed for work in the dry.

Beautiful here in Banchory watching grandson heading for cricket training. The Penicuik lot are at the Dalkeith Show today and report equally good weather down there.

It showed 50 degrees on the unshaded, wind-sheltered South facing terrace, at 1pm.
I thought now is the time to see if we really can cook an egg on it.
Immediately, a fresh southerly blew up..
So that's how I can influence the weather..!
20 minutes later, the yolk has set..

After some heavy showers late yesterday (loved by the garden) it’s another bright calm morning and rising through 19 degrees already. ️️️

The badly needed overnight rain will continue on into the afternoon, when it will turn into another beautiful day with a 20 degree high.
