Sun gave way to a couple of thundery episodes but not enough rain to do any good, skies have cleared again now. The plan is to head for Italy, Chris and maybe get to Puglia but nothing hard and fast.

Thunderstorms never showed yesterday and now we're back to blue skies. Enjoy your trip Dave, we're off roaming around France looking up old friends for a few weeks.

Once past half way, I like Italy from the Gargano Peninsula down to Puglia. Safe travels.

In spite of the daft forecast for much needed rain, we've another bright day with a light easterly and 21 deg high.

Areas of cloud will gradually clear leaving plenty of sunshine for the rest of the day. A little cooler at 17 deg together with a gentle breeze.

Grey start and only 9° with a northerly breeze down near Folkestone.

Wall to wall sunshine again with a pleasant 14 degrees so far expected to rise into the 20s.
