Weather Report..................

Where are you just now, Paul, I'm guessing Portugal or Spain maybe?

We're half way up an East Algarve hillside, Marie.
The Circus winter quarters
Possibly going South to Andalusia, if the weather gets too cold in January.

What's your plans?
Classoudy day, odd sunny spells, managed breakfast and lunch outdoors. 14 degrees now. Time to turn a little heating on.
Westerly winds due to strengthen overnight and the possibility of a couple of showery hours.. They will be welcomed.
The garden is looking dry.

A lovely day on Gibraltar today with a mix of clear blue and patchy cloud. It was a tad windy at the top of the rock:

I share 99.9..........% of my genes with these close relatives.
Hence the obvious similarities in our features and intelligence.

It’s been dry and quite mild here today now tonight it’s a slight frost here at County Durham

Right on cue, the rain arrived just before midnight. Too gentle to clean the roof off, before connecting to the cisterns.
A Hooley blew in from the west, at 3. I leapt out of my lovely warm pit, dashed out and connected up. Slipped back in beside my lovely bedwarmer. As I drifted back to sleep the wind got heavier and the rain got lighter.

She claims not to heard a thing.
Only a couple of mm of rain.. We average 75 a year.. So plenty more to come.
About a week's supply gone into the tanks.. And the garden irrigated for the next couple of days.
Max 14 expected, in the shade... Brrrr,( andy ) weather. !

I went to sleep with a clear view of The Rock last night:

.............but, as Paul reports from Portugal, the wind started howling and rocking the Moho during the night. I gave up about 3 a.m and moved a couple of kilometres up the coast.
This morning I awoke to a great view towards Morocco:

................ but the wind was still howling and the rain started lashing down.
I decided to drive north through the national park towards Seville but really couldn't see much of it with visibility generally no more than 750 metres, though I did drive right under a rainbow at one point:

That must be a Spanish phenomenon.
