What made you smile today.

I've just deleted all the nasty topics, so can we now go back to the main theme of this thread 'What made you smile today' :smile:

From a sick bed too... talk about above and beyond :Smiling_Face_with_H

As for what made me smile today... well the video link has prompted me to stick Frozen in the DVD and watch it yet again - always makes me smile :Thumbs_Up_Hand_Sign

These pictures sent to me by my daughter Sarah made me smile.

They are of our granddaughter Charlotte. The first one she is having a real tantrum, screwed up face and legs kicking like BillyO. The second she is posing in her new Xmas dress;

Seeing a young mum get her toddler out the car and then run to catch her as the wind took her.

She clearly prefers to be dressed like a little girl than dressed as Santa ?

Is she thinking how far she can throw that bauble Rob? We've been watching Mary Poppins whirlwind loves it! It's better than the wheels on the bus isn't it Rob!!! :Hear_No_Evil_Monkey

arrived home after being away for two weeks......and everything is just as i left it.......good

Welcome home Trixie!

Getting home to everything just as I left it can be a bit of a pain... especially as I'd forgotten I'd stripped off my bed on the morning I left, thinking I'd make it up when I got back :rolleyes: I was tempted to sleep in my own spare room but caved in and made the bed eventually.
To bring it back to topic, it certainly made me smile once I was cosy and settled though... nothing like the feeling of fresh bedding in your own comfy bed :Sleeping_Emoji:

Welcome home trixie what made me smile today was seeing whirlwind and getting the biggest smile and longest hug and a kiss ?

Just slobbing out on my sofa drinking beachams hot lemons and watching mushy films back to back, life doesn’t get any better when your ill.

The look on my son's face when he came home from work and we had redecorated his living room while he was out! Not an easy thing to buy the right sort of paint in Thailand (here on holiday) not to mention brushes, a scraper and polyfiller!! Definitely worth the effort!

Finding a packet of biscuits with peanuts in them.

Not started the assault on my waistline yet.

The male flowers on the hazle getting ready for the females to appear here in northern France. Always a good sign that spring isn't too far away.
In London we called the male flowers 'catkins' but to me that's a misnomer- 'lamb's tails' are more descriptive for me.
