We get quite a lot round here Colin, it used to get harvested for Christmas, but they don't seem to bother these days.

In the UK I've seen mistletoe growing mainly on apple trees, Rob. In France, as you'll be aware, it seems to grow on a wider variety of trees and there is a band across France from the north coast roughly down to a line through Lyon.
As global warming takes off I guess it will gradually migrate north so perhaps we'll be seeing more in the UK.
The shear quantity of the stuff in France would take an awful lot of harvesting and then an awful lot of kissing to be used effectively. I know that woodcarvers value mistletoe infected timber but I'm not sure foresters do. I've no idea if the trees can be treated once infected.

The SUN on the castle just above the Aire here at El Catllar, just north of Tarragona.

There are lots of Catalan flags (the one on the left) and political graffiti here abouts. I guess independence from the rest of Spain is still high on the agenda.

Just waking up in the van great feeling.

Yep, it's those little things that really matter, Annie. Fortunate and wise people can derive great pleasure and happiness from simple, cost free, experience.
Enjoy.
