1976 suzuki 250 gtm (which later became an off road "bitsa" -see photo) followed by a dozen or more incl. BSA A10, Yamaha XS650 ( later attached to a Monza sidecar... often lifted the chair wheel, just showing off really)
This is my lad on the A10...
Moved to cars in 1981 with a mini which got modified over a couple of years... cooperS look-alike.

Ah that's just reminded me of when I worked on a petrol station. A lad used to come in with a regal that he had " modified" big rear wheels and self made arches, austin healy engine had been shoe horned in. We used to encourage him to do a "burn" when he left the forecourt. The look on customers faces when he left dragster like in a cloud of smoke was brilliant. Sadly he ended up splitting it in half, a bit too much power
