I eas told to shake the van to break up the lumps of wax or put hot water bottle in engine bay and warm bonnet with blanket all tucked up nicely

Listening to Saturday live...should be doing some cleaning...woodburners do make so much dust. Nobody else will know if I leave it and sit here with my cuppa! Gone from lowest tier to very high risk in our area now ( one more to get to highest..extreme) so settling in for a longish period at home. Luckily got loads of veg and can make what I got last time I shopped last. Neighbours will be leaving gifts of food and wine intermittently, reciprocated by leaving cake on their doorstep. All I really need now is a pile of recipes to use 10 litres of olive oil left yesterday!

I have to admit that the first thing I do when making morning tea is cross the day on the calendar. Despite phone, tablet etc showing day we have been known to go to the market in the wrong day! And that was before lockdown/ covid!

Morning, I hate porridge so have fruit when I make it for Dave! Bacon roll this morning....the bacon here loses no water or salt, but crisps up beautifully
