We have a good depth of snow the height of a Coca Cola can plus 2 inches and it’s now got a frozen crust on top and solid ice underneath all buses out of the city centre were halted at 3.30/ 4.00 pm yesterday nothing could get up the hills here and the snow ploughs could not get through for cars and buses strewn all over the place, poor Bill had to walk the 3 miles home all up hill in a blizzard he looked like the abominable snowman when he got here.

Took the dog out earlier, and the crust on the snow was so hard she didn't leave any paw prints. Definitely another duvet day.

Some days I have to make a real effort to work out what day we are on if I havn't put the radio/tv on.

I lost a day this week thought it was Thursday all day until Bill informed me it was Friday so where the heck did Thursday go

You had a very long Wednesday?

Bought mum an electric calendar clock as she was losing track so was muddling pills, appointments etc. Now at least she has a visual reminder. My phone and the radio are my starting point then I cross off the day on the calendar!
