Who's Awake

how exciting for you jeanette....do tell more......what breed etc........now you will have to start puppy training......good luck
Ooh yes trixie and it’s a West Highland white we’ve been thinking about it for some time to be honest trixie and I kept putting it off, it’s been 5 yrs since we lost our little dog we had her for 17 yrs and it’s heartfelt when loose a pet! Anyway it’s time for a puppy as we wanted the puppy to grow up with the g/kids. I’m not too sure about wreaking Annie though!...haha if it’s as good as our last one she was no bother getting trained, still my fingers are crossed ? haha ?

I have just put heating on in the van, been stood putsid3 and got a bit cold so warming up

they are out favourite Jeanette, when our last Westie male died we looked round and got the Westie we have now (Lou!ou) a year later our Scottie died. We looked around for another Scottie pup but none about, I would have gone for a second Westie but Caz found the Shitzu that had to be rehired so we ended up with a Westie and a terrorist :)

Malcolm has always wanted one but after tess died I couldn’t get one but now the time is right and we went for a Westie we get her on Friday we’ve been looking for a while and I think what clinched it for me we met a lovely couple where we were parked when we were away and got chatting with them we asked what they were like with kids because of our g/kids anyway the people who we are getting her from she has 12 g/kids so that was it sorted! We can’t wait now for her to come to her forever home! Any photos of yours nabsim?

Morning folks, waiting for my tea to cool enough to take my meds, can’t be bothered with juice or water this morning, to many decisions :)

Have I got photos of our Jeanette ha ha, I have more photos of the dogs than anything else :) on iPhone you can take what they call live pics and if you hold your finger on while looking at it you get a little movie (very Harry Potter ish) some of the dogs pics just look like a dog but they are often something funny if you watch the clip. Westie are really good with kids and other dogs although out current one has always been loopy which is why we called her Lou. Jake was very outgoing and had to be in charge of everything but Lou is getting more timid each day, they are very adventurous and Jake could actually climb an almost vertical rock face to escape the garden, they are very loving as well.

We have chosen a name trixie and she’ll be called “misty” unless we change it!..lol nabsim the photos are lovely yes trixie I think we might have a few sleepless nights hopefully not though, enjoy your trip Annie and Bill, nabsim when your away in the van how do they travel do you just have them on a knee or strap them in?

They lie on the cab floor between driver and passenger seats. They don’t have any restraints but don’t move a lot except when Caz lets one up on her lap. I keep thinking of rigging something up so I can use the short restraints that you in seat belts but not done yet. We only have front two seats that have belts so no easy option anyway

That the same as ours we onhave the two front seats with belts, we were just going to let her stay on my knee unless she wanted to lie in between the front seats! So we’ll have to see how she is next week I did think that it would be more helpful to her to sit on my knees and see out the window less risk of her being poorly (just my thoughts) as our last dang wasn’t to bad she would just lie on the back seat

That’s what we would do Jeanette, she will be tiny when you first get her if around 8 weeks, keep her on you lap so you don’t lose her in the van :)
