On a totally different tack, here's some pictures of cushions I've managed to make a couple of weeks back with fabric I'd had stashed away for well over 12 years. Such a blummin hoarder I am!

It's only the top cushion with the grasses on it, it's a cheap linen remnant from when we used to have a few more fabric/habedashery shops around. Made two identical. They're big boudoir(?) type cushions. The 'posh' inners were £5 each :eek: - I pushed the boat out! - they are nice and well-stuffed plump-y feather ones from Ikea.

Really must sort out and use or get rid of all the crafty-type stuff I've got clogging up the drawers and the spare room. {sigh}
Keep imagining I'll manage to tart up the old camper with all my boho ideas, but it'll probably never happen as life in general always seems to get in the way... you think you might have a spare day or weekend and then a spanner comes along... lol ;)

they look lovely marie....looks as tho you have made them reversible .....go ahead and tart the van up......a bit at a time and it wont seem like a big job. good luck.........and you keep warm too, your much further north..

Evening all it’s been a busy but lovely day as I’ve had Lana then son called in this afternoon with wreaking Annie ooh ? love her to bits...but! That’s all I’m saying..haha :oops:

So...... this year's saga of broken vehicles soon to be over... I hope, fingers crossed!!

I'm heartily sick of old bangers letting me down, so I've gone out and bought a much newer banger today as my work vehicle, 1 owner from new, full service history, pretty immaculate condition... here she is, I'm picking her up Saturday morning :)

Also, in celebration of that fact (and because it is really blummin cold here tonight!), I have broken into the log pile and lit the 2nd fire of this looming winter season ...

Hi everyone,

I ended up following an Halloween trail this afternoon at a local country park. We took the kids to give them a run and found a walk organised for them all. The weather was bracing, I enjoyed myself as much as the little ones, and we finished the day with ice cream covered in sprinkles. Should do it more often.

Marie the fire looks cosy we love going to our sons as he has a log burner in and it’s so warm and cosy that cosy Malcolm tries hard not to nod off!..haha ? even though we’ve got the heating on I do love a fire! The “newer banger” looks lovely marie
 
Morning all,
Sounded as though we had a drop of rain in the night, or it was gulls stamping on the roof!
Taking Mum out for a ride somewhere this morning, so probably manage a brekky, or at least a sticky bun :)
 
Gordon, you must be kn*ckeroonied with those shifts, I'm noticing the twilight times you're posting!

Just watch out for the nutters on the roads who haven't woken up yet, as well as the ones who are about to fall asleep :)

Sunny morning here, cold but not as bad as last few days.
 
Morning all it seems as if Gordon just goes to bed and then he’s up again marie! Bright and sunny here this morning but cold,have good day everyone and if you’re out and about hope the sun is shining for you! Chris enjoy your ride out and either your brekky or sticky bun!!
